Last weekend, at a two hour mini-workshop with a small group in Kona focused on ancestors, we happened to mention the previous event where the group had been successful in encouraging the rain. The islands are still in an exceptional drought, and as we discussed the problem, we brought up that success story and lo and behold, it began to sprinkle. The sprinkles turned into a soaker that evening so I think we’re on to something.
We are currently on the road and during those long drives, my thoughts have been turning toward the ‘New Mysteries’ that are reemerging in our time. Accordingly, I am going to create a series of monthly essays about the New Mysteries to be posted under Shaman Wisdom on our site.
Happy Solstice!
